The very first studio in France

I hope I will never forget what I learnt this last lesson, given by Corinne Korsia, an excellent teacher. And hopefully I can integrate the corrections in my own practise. She is an amazing teacher, in London, they would certainly call her a Senior Teacher.

She started Bikram Yoga 1997 in Florida. 2001 she did the Teacher Training in Los Angeles at Bikram’s, with much less people than today. In November 2001 she opened her studio in the lively, colourful quarter La Plaine, which has a special atmosphere. She attends recertifications and different perfecting sessions regularly, and she also gives lessons in Florida, California and Hawaï. Even more, she takes part in trainings in other sorts of yoga, nevertheless she sticks to the original 26 Bikram-Yoga-Postures.- Upstairs her studio Corinne rents I a spacious flat for people who want to spend time in Marseille and practics yoga.

She likes teaching and whenever possible she practises together with the crowd, which is absolutely amazing: She does it not as Silent Classes without guiding, but speaks the whole dialogue in French without visible effort. She even changes into English when she sees a small mistake. Since the two other studios opened, the classes are smaller. But the yogis who are coming are exactly those who appreciate the special atmosphere in Corinne’s studio.
